Apple's 13-inch MacBook Pro is the company's entry-level Pro notebook, representing the best combination of price and performance in its product range. For $ 300 more than the MacBook Air, you'll get faster performance and longer battery life. The SSD has a maximum storage capacity of 2TB and the MacBook Pro includes a touch bar. It has a battery life of up to 17 hours and includes the latest Magic Keyboard.
Display
The new 14-inch MacBook Pro differs from the replaced 13-inch model in almost every way. The display extends to the edge in a case of the same size, but this is achieved by adding a notch to the camera case. The new display is also backlit with miniLED and has a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, compared to just 500 nits on previous models.
14-inch model connections are further diversified with HDMI, SD card slots, and MagSafe, in addition to three Thunderbolt 4 connections. The M1-based MacBook Pro has only two Thunderbolt 3 ports. Next is the processor. The M1 Pro or M1 Max is built on the M1 and offers more power, more graphics, and more memory. Of course, these chips are much faster, but certain specifications show a huge leap in performance year-over-year. M1 Max is up to four times faster than M1.
In October 2021, Apple brought a whole new design to the MacBook Pro line. Apple has increased the screen size of 13-inch screens to 14-inch and reduced the bezel of 16-inch screens. This 5th generation notebook has addressed many of the previous generation's complaints. MagSafe is back in the form of an upgraded MagSafe 3, but the MacBook has also regained its HDMI port and SD card slot.
The touch bar is also gone. Instead, the standard line of function keys is returned. The latest MacBook also features a ProMotion display with variable refresh rate and mini LED backlight, first introduced in iPad Pro.
The 2021 MacBook isn't without its controversial features. While the display is bigger, the 1080P FaceTime camera has a big notch. Face ID was a great addition in exchange for that small section of the screen, but there are several reasons why it's not entirely practical.
Keyboard
The touch bar at the top of the Magic Keyboard on the 13-inch MacBook Pro shows a number of tools that change with activity. Touch ID (power button) is on the right side of the touch bar. Once you've set up Touch ID, you can use your fingerprint to unlock your MacBook Pro, quickly lock your screen, or buy from the App Store. Websites that use the Apple TV app, Apple Books, and Apple Pay.
Touch ID can be set up during or later in the Touch ID section of System Preferences. To set keyboard and touchbar preferences, open System Preferences, click Keyboard, and then click the button above to see the available options.
Spacification
The M1 chip is an integrated design with an 8-core CPU and an 8-core CPU. The integrated processor memory on the board limits the device to 8GB or 16GB standard memory. The 13-inch M1 MacBook Pro can be configured with 256GB to 2TB of storage and has a magic keyboard instead of the problematic butterfly keyboard.
